Approximately 350,000 cases of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) occur outside of the hospital each year in the United States1. Every second counts. Each minute an automated external defibrillator (AED) is not administered, success rate of reestablishing a heart rate decreases 7-10%.
How Our Program Works
For a low, weekly rental rate, you’ll receive a state-of-the-art AED device(s) supported with the LIFELINKcentral™ AED program manager software plus battery and pad replacements automatically upon expiration.

Offering real-time CPR Rate feedback, the HeartSine samaritan PAD 450P (SAM 450P) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) with integrated CPR Rate Advisor™ meets the needs of two key links in the chain of survival. Not only can the semi-automatic SAM 450P deliver a lifesaving shock, it also provides real-time visual and verbal feedback to the rescuer on the rate of CPR compressions during an SCA resuscitation – effectively assisting the rescuer to perform CPR.

Training Courses and Certification*
CPR and AED training are crucial to knowing how to respond to an SCA event. We offer flexible options to meet your workplace needs while conforming to AHA guidelines. When you pass the training course, you’ll receive a two-year certification for CPR and use of AED. There are three ways you and your team can become certified:
• In-Person: Instructor-led training with hands-on training
• Online: Train from the comfort of your home or office
• Blended: Online educational foundation followed by a group-setting class for hands-on training

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY: Every business location is unique and our customers’ needs will differ based on the specific work environment and hazards. Stryker’s AEDs require a prescription in the U.S. Please consult your physician. AED users should be trained in CPR and in the use of an AED. Although not everyone can be saved, studies show that early defibrillation can dramatically improve survival rates. AEDs are indicated for use on adults and children. AEDs may be used on children weighing less than 25 kg (55 lbs) but some models require separate defibrillation electrodes.
